First taste of cereal...from a spoon!

The pediatrician gave us the go-ahead to start trying solid foods, beginning with cereals. I had started putting a little bit in her night-time bottle, to help with her acid reflux and spitting up during the night. So though it was not her very first time with cereal, it was the first time I imagine she actually tasted it, with texture, and ate from a spoon.

I held her off feeding for longer than normal, to make sure she would be good and hungry when I attempted to feed her. Sure enough, she was more than ready to eat!
I dont know if you can tell in this picture, but as soon as I brought the spoon close enough, she would grab my hand and pull it to her mouth herself! Granted, I dont think she made it IN her mouth a single time, but she obviously knew where it was supposed to go.
Look Mommy, I ate this much!!
(And I have my cute messy face to show for it!)
I can't believe it has been four months, and we are eating from a spoon! Time sure has flown by, and my baby is growing up fast. I'm enjoying every minute of it. =)
