My big girl

People were not kidding when they say that babies grow up too fast! I think Ryleigh has hit a few major milestones lately, and is becoming quite the "big girl." (Yeah right, I know, but still. Hehe :)

She finally grew too long for the infant hammock in her bath tub. She does okay sitting in her tub, but she tends to excited and ends up kicking so hard she pushes herself over. We have to watch her all the time! It is fun putting her floating toys in the bath, and though she does not exactly "play" with them yet, she does watch them very intently.
I just added this picture to show how cute she is after bath time. :)
Wearing her Old Navy outfit from 'Aunt' Michelle...and to top it off, tie-up shoes from Granddad Holder, bought for her when Mommy first found out she was expecting a baby girl.
(Yes, Ryleigh loves Old Navy as much as Mommy!)
After much raving about the Bumbo chair from family and friends, I went and got one for her, and sure enough, she seems to like it. She is not holding her head up 100% of the time yet, so I only put her in it for a little bit of the time, and only when she is awake and alert. This chair is going to come in handy over the weeks and months to come.
Tummy time on her new play mat. There is a mini boppy-type pillow to help with tummy time, but frankly nothing helps. Ryleigh is NOT a fan of tummy time!
But she does like laying on her back and looking at the rattle toys. Her arms are just out of reach for the toys right now, but give it a month, and our house will sound like a baby's playground.
So fun! :)
Just thought I would pass along these pictures so you can all share in her transitions!
