"Couple more days..."

That is what I tell Ryleigh every time she asks about Daddy or College Station.

"We go see Daddy? College Station?"
"Ryleigh, when are we going to see Daddy?"
And she sighs, smiles, and says, "couple more days!"

I'll admit it- this summer has been hard. Packing. Moving. Having no home. Living out of suitcases. Driving up on the weekends, though still not to our own place. Not having all three of us under the same roof. Communicating mainly through a 15 minute phone call once a day.

NOT ideal.

And I am slightly (slightly=very) hormonal, meaning I need more right now. More time and affection and attention and help from my husband. And it simply has not been possible. You can only squeeze so much into a 2-day weekend.

But....there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! In a "couple more days," we will close on our new house. We move up there this weekend! I know the moving and settling might be slightly chaotic, but its chaos under one roof. Our family. Together. In our home.

I'm ready! Hurry up Friday!!!
