Yard of the month

Our neighborhood is full of nice homes and people who take good care of their belongings. The yard is no different- you can find people out at work in their front yards at any time of the day. I bet that is the reason they no longer have a "yard of the month," simply because it is too hard to name a winner!

When we first moved into our home last year, Jesse was very burnt out from work and did not particularly enjoy coming home and working in the yard, after working on the golf course all day long. This year, he has been outside almost every single afternoon doing something. We took some time last week to pull up our old flowers from the winter (which were drying out and dying) and we planted new flowers for the summer.

Now, I know without a shadow of a doubt, that despite the other nice yards in our neighborhood, Jesse has earned an honorary "yard of the month" in my mind. Look what a nice job he does! I'm very blessed to have such a talented husband!
